It’s easy to say we love nature.
We hike it. Camp in it. Photograph it. Travel to see it. Wear clothing inspired by it. Find peace in it. And create memories in places we hope will still be there for generations to come.
But loving the outdoors also means taking responsibility for how we treat it.
That’s where Leave No Trace comes in.
Through education, research and their 7 Principles, Leave No Trace gives people practical ways to minimize their impact while enjoying the outdoors.
For Nature Talks Back™, that connection felt incredibly natural.
We want to help share knowledge, empower stewards and protect the outdoors so everyone can continue to enjoy it.
What This Partnership Means to Us
Nature Talks Back™ has always been about more than putting a cool image or saying on a T-shirt.
We want what we create to start conversations.
We want a shirt to make someone think.
We want art to remind people what’s worth protecting.
And we want to use this growing platform to introduce people to organizations, artists and ideas that are doing meaningful things for animals and the natural world.
Partnering with Leave No Trace gives us another way to do exactly that.
You’ll begin seeing Leave No Trace education woven into the Nature Talks Back™ community — including opportunities to learn more about the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace, responsible outdoor stewardship and simple actions each of us can take.
And yes… we have some fun ideas in the works, too. 🌲
Where Art Meets Stewardship
One of the things we’re most excited about is continuing to bring artists into the Nature Talks Back™ story.
We believe art can make people stop, look and feel something.
That makes it a powerful way to talk about conservation and stewardship.
Nature Talks Back™ is continuing to build artist collaborations and collections with creators who share our love of animals, nature and the outdoors. We’re also exploring ways that apparel, art and Leave No Trace education can come together to help spread this message even further.

This community is growing, and we're always looking for artists who want to create something meaningful with us.
Small Actions Matter
Protecting nature can sometimes feel like an enormous responsibility.
But meaningful change doesn't always begin with an enormous action.
It can begin with packing out what you packed in.
Giving wildlife the space it deserves.
Leaving something beautiful exactly where you found it.
Thinking ahead before heading outdoors.
Sharing what you've learned with someone else.
Picking up a piece of trash that wasn't yours.
Or simply making a different choice because you understand the impact it can have.
Those actions add up.
And when more people understand why those actions matter, they spread.
That's why education is such an important part of this partnership.
